WATCH: Carney’s Immigration Shell Game?

In an exclusive interview, MP Michelle Rempel Garner joins 'Not "Sorry"' host and NCC Director Alexander Brown for a no-holds-barred takedown of the Carney Government's immigration tricks.

In the latest unflinching episode of Not ‘Sorry’ on Juno News, host Alexander Brown, Director of the National Citizens Coalition, welcomes special guest Conservative MP Michelle Rempel Garner, shadow immigration critic, for a no-holds-barred takedown of the Liberal government’s latest immigration sleight-of-hand.

The duo zero in on the Liberals’ so-called “reduced” targets -- headlined at 380,000 permanent residents annually -- but as Brown and Rempel Garner expose, the real number balloons to nearly 528,000 when you factor in 33,000 grandfathered temporary foreign workers and 115,000 “Protected Persons.” That’s an under-the-radar surge of 148,000 over three years, buried in budget fine print.

Slightly turning down the taps won’t fix the flood, or the flood damage, and are they even fixing it at all? Rempel Garner doesn’t mince words on a fresh Blacklock’s Reporter bombshell: Liberal MP Amandeep Sodhi has tabled a Commons petition pushing permanent residency and federal aid for foreign students and migrant workers facing deportation.

With three-to-five million from the ‘Fraser wave’ on temporary visas expiring or set to expire, this petition is a blatant attempt to cement mass overstays, and would represent a massive step backwards even by the standards of a government feigning reform.

The conversation turns grim with a case of a Pakistani immigrant who killed one and injured five in a QEW road-rage crash, fled the scene, and still won leniency to remain in Canada. Our once-vaunted system is a mess. Even killers get red-carpet treatment while Canadians wait years for justice.

Brown and Rempel also further hammer home the human cost: 6.5 million Canadians lack a family doctor, millions more drown in a Liberal-made housing crisis, yet “Creative accounting” on mass immigration continues. A majority of Canadians still demand more changes to out-of-control Liberal immigration targets, and these recent acts only betray that dire need.
