FERNANDO: Trudeau's Radical Far-Left

It’s Time To Start Calling The Liberals A Radical Far-Left Party Outside The Mainstream

By Spencer Fernando, exclusive to the National Citizens Coalition

The Liberals repeatedly talk about the ‘far-right,’ but the reality is that Trudeau and his cronies are the ones totally out-of-touch with regular Canadians.

One of the subtle ways the establishment media and Liberals try to manipulate elections is by repeatedly referring to Conservatives as ‘far-right,’ while Liberals are always referred to as ‘centrists’ or ‘moderates.’

It’s an incredibly dishonest move, since it ignores basic reality, but it has often proven effective for the Liberals, in large part because the media helps enable it.

The tactic lets the Liberals put Conservatives on the defensive from the outset, as the Liberals take the false middle-ground, and force Conservatives to first argue about why they’re not ‘far-right’ before even being able to make their main points.

The Liberals even get away with it when it seems totally absurd. For example, most polls show the Conservatives either leading or tied with the Liberals federally. Many millions of Canadians plan to vote Conservative. So, there is no conceivable way in which the Liberals are ‘more mainstream’ than Conservatives.

In fact, many Liberal policies – such as the carbon tax – are incredibly unpopular, yet the Liberals are forcing the policies on Canadians anyway. If the media was fair, then the carbon tax would be referred to as a ‘far-left’ policy being imposed on unwilling Canadians.

But that’s not what the media does.

Even with Trudeau’s personal popularity numbers having dropped significantly, Trudeau is never referred to as ‘controversial' or a 'far-left’ leader, even as he continues to abandon his classic liberal base, while Andrew Scheer, who is far less unpopular, is repeatedly lumped in with the ‘far-right’ by the establishment press.

We can expect this manipulative use of language by the left to continue as the election nears, and we’re seeing more if it already.

That’s why we need to push back.

If the Liberals are going to play that game and get away with it, then it’s time to fight fire with fire.

After all, the reality is that the Liberals – particularly under Justin Trudeau – are a radical, far-left party way outside the Canadian mainstream.

Remember, Trudeau has openly called for Canada to be the world’s first ‘post-nationalist’ nation, which is a dangerous, radical far-left notion that almost nobody in the country supports. Canadians want our country to have a strong and unified national identity. Trudeau wants the opposite.

On that issue alone (and on many, many others), Trudeau is totally out-of-touch with Canadians, pushing an agenda and worldview that Canadians don’t want.

The Liberals are no longer a centrist party, and we can’t let them get away with that fiction any more.

So, it’s time for all of us, the patriotic Canadians of the National Citizens Coalition, readers of SpencerFernando.com, and all Canadians who value truth, reality, and fairness, to start repeatedly calling the Liberals out as the radical, far-left party that they now are.
