Trudeau's Ignorance Is No Strength

Yesterday, in a bomb-shell report from Global News, we learned of a deeply unethical decision by Statistics Canada to compel banks and financial institutions to release the personal transaction data of 500,000 people without their consent.

And guess who's defending them? Of course, it's Trudeau himself.

It would be an understatement to say this is an unacceptable overstep by Trudeau’s Liberals into the private lives of Canadians.

Your banking information does not -- should not -- belong to the Government of Canada.

Trudeau, though, sees StatsCan gathering all of your personal information as vital to "providing services to Canadians." (Taxes, anyone?)

“High quality and timely data are critical to ensuring that government programs remain relevant and effective for Canadians,” he told the House.

We see things differently.

The plan now is to continue to seize the banking records of 500,000 Canadians each and every year.

And we only learned of this thanks to some good old fashioned reporting.

Big Brother will be watching. He forget to mention that on his sunny platform in 2015.

Let's make it his undoing in 2019.
