National Citizens Coalition Launches ‘Better B.C.’ Campaign to Combat Provincial Decline and Restore the Frontier Spirit

VANCOUVER, B.C. – The National Citizens Coalition (NCC) is proud to announce the launch of its "Better B.C." campaign, a major advocacy initiative aimed at holding the current provincial government accountable and restoring British Columbia’s legacy as an economic powerhouse.

For decades, British Columbia was defined by a frontier mindset—a spirit of free enterprise and courage that built one of the most prosperous regions in North America. Today, the NCC warns that this spirit is under siege. After years of NDP mismanagement, the province is trapped in a cycle of managed decline, where ideological agendas are prioritized over the well-being of families and the protection of private property rights.

"British Columbians are demanding a return to quality of life, safer streets, and a real future for the next generation," says NCC Director Alexander Brown, who will be taking the stage at Canada Strong and Free Vancouver on April 24th, alongside B.C. Conservative interim leader Trevor Halford. "We are saying ‘enough’ to the stifling of our resource sector and the anti-growth policies that have turned a thriving economy into a cautionary tale."

The ‘Better B.C.’ campaign focuses on three core pillars:

• Economic Abundance: Ending the bottleneck reputation of the province by opening doors to the future and allowing clean energy to reach the Pacific Coast.
• Defending Property Rights: Opposing back-room land deals and affirming that citizens’ land remains their own.
• Common-Sense Leadership: Breaking the grip of far-left ideology to restore safety and opportunity to B.C. communities.

As part of this mission, the NCC will be registering as an official third-party advertiser at the time the upcoming provincial election is called. The organization will serve as a bold voice for the silent majority, ensuring that the disastrous policies of the current administration are challenged on the public stage.

"We aren't just fighting against provincial decline, Canada's recovery from the worst of the Trudeau years is at stake," Brown continues. "B.C. is integral to national revitalization efforts, and it is time for leadership that values the common good over far-left, anti-civilizational ideology."
