Is this really the change Canadians were promised... and that many continue to pretend is on offer?
The Liberals are expected to vote AGAINST the Conservative motion on pipeline support later today.
As University of Manitoba political science professor, Royce Koop, sums up accurately: "The Liberals' biggest tell: they can't see any difference between what's good for the country and what's good for the party. Just replace 'our nation' and 'Canada' with 'The Liberal Party' and you finally have an honest government statement on the CPC's pipeline motion."
That they're even attempting to play political games here and have it both ways, that they continue to use Alberta as a wedge, along with the return of Canada as a serious country capable of growth and prosperity, it's a disgrace.
This would be one step forward, two steps back. And if it doesn't remind you of the Trudeau years, you aren't paying close enough attention.
There are key discussions common-sense Canadians need to be having now, and I recently hosted a wide-ranging chat with Brian Lilley of the Toronto Sun on Juno News. The theme? Is Carney already losing his grip on his caucus of Trudeau-era rejects, and has the veneer of change already faded?
And in a new thirty-minute feature on B.C.'s growing land use and pipeline-blocking efforts, Dr. Caroline Elliott, famed common-sense B.C. political analyst with the Public Land Use Society, joins us to break down more bomb-shell legal rulings that sit downstream from reconciliation virtue-signals now run amok.
Canadian property rights aren't just under threat -- they're now in question. And all laws may soon need to be reinterpreted through the U.N.'s far-left lens. There can’t be two laws of the land, surely. And UNDRIP and DRIPA are being positioned to supersede all else. That’s not the Canada we can or should be.
The federal Liberals let that happen. It's their friends in the B.C. NDP who continue to race headlong into de-growth and anti-civilizational decline. Together, they're blocking more projects, and more pipelines.
This moment for recovery is slipping away, and all Canadians need to stand athwart more managed decline.
'Team Canada' was always a convenient federal election myth. That many fell for it is unfortunate, that any continue to do so is an embarrassment.
Help the NCC, Canada's pioneering conservative advocacy group, get the word out to millions heading into the holidays. The same old failing status quo won't cut it -- and we're on to the Liberals' false starts and empty promises.
I need your help to push the polls and fight managed decline. If you share our alarm, your support is most welcome.
