FERNANDO: With the Return of Butts, Trudeau's Arrogance on Full Display

Welcome To Justin Trudeau’s Canada, Where People Like Admiral Mark Norman & Jody Wilson-Raybould Are Punished While Gerald Butts Is Rewarded

Canadians are supposed to follow the rules or else pay the price. But Trudeau and his enablers get rewarded for the same things we would be punished for.

Justin Trudeau’s top advisor Gerald Butts – who recently resigned in disgrace in the midst of the SNC-Lavalin Scandal – is back.

Butts’ return is a signal of many things, including Justin Trudeau’s arrogance, his contempt for Canadians, his contempt for the rules, and the fact that his enablers will always be able to get away with anything in his eyes.

But above all of that, it’s a sign of the ethical, or should I say unethical, environment Trudeau has fostered in the nation's capital.

Justin Trudeau ran on ‘Sunny Ways,’ and ‘Real Change,’ repeatedly promising that he would reduce the centralization of power in the PMO, increase ethical standards, and run the most ‘open and transparent’ government ever seen.

In office however, Trudeau has done exactly the opposite.

The same pattern has repeated far too many times for it to be a ‘coincidence’ or ‘random occurrences.’

We can see, beyond any doubt, that Justin Trudeau’s Ottawa is a place where ethical people get punished, while those who do his bidding can get away with anything.

In a fair and ethical government, people like Vice-Admiral Mark Norman and Jody Wilson-Raybould would still be in a position of power, helping to influence the direction of our nation at the highest levels.

Instead, they’re gone.

Meanwhile, someone like Gerald Butts – despite demonizing anyone who ‘dares’ to question Justin Trudeau, despite Jody Wilson-Raybould’s testimony that he applied improper pressure and claimed that there was no ‘solution’ for the SNC-Lavalin issue that ‘didn’t involve some interference,’ and despite having recently resigned in disgrace – is welcomed back with open arms.

Think about the message this sends across the government and across the country.

People like Vice-Admiral Mark Norman and Jody Wilson-Raybould who stood up for what they believe in and stood up for the Canadian people, have been ostracized, pushed out of their jobs, punished, and then totally removed from the government power structure.

Meanwhile, Gerald Butts was only temporarily removed, in what now appears to have been a tactical move only, and is now back as part of the Liberals attempt to retain power.

In fact, I don’t think any of us would be surprised if we find out down the road that Butts has still been communicating with Trudeau this entire time, and has still been exerting vast influence behind the scenes.

The message sent by the return of Butts, and the treatment of Norman and Wilson-Raybould exerts a deeply corruptive influence upon our entire country, and all patriotic Canadians must stand against that corruption in the upcoming election.

We must restore the Canada that we love, and ensure that our nation is a place where people with the integrity of Norman & Wilson-Raybould are welcomed into the halls of power, while Gerald Butts is booted for away from any influence over our lives or the course of our nation.
