Trudeau’s Desperate & Divisive Strategy: Campaign Against The West, While Bribing Corporate Elites In The East

New poll numbers reported by the Toronto Sun show the Liberals facing serious headwinds as they seek re-election.
The DART Maru/Blue Voice Canada poll puts the Liberals at 32%, while the Conservatives lead with 39% of the vote.
The same polls also showed just 26% of Canadians saying the Trudeau Liberals deserve re-election.
However, the poll showed the Liberals with strong support in Atlantic Canada, and other recent polls have shown the Liberals leading in Quebec, and even expanding their lead in Quebec since the Ethics Commissioner’s devastating report on Trudeau’s wrongdoing.
The Conservatives remain dominant in Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba, while the Liberals also appear likely to lose seats in BC.
With that in mind, we can see a clear, desperate, and divisive strategy unfolding in the actions of the Trudeau Liberals: Campaign against the West, while bribing corporate elites in the East.
Rather than try and bring Canadians together, Trudeau has taken an adversarial and condescending approach to the duly-elected governments in Alberta and the Prairie provinces. He has refused to compromise, refused to listen to different points of view, and has blamed growing Western anger on the West itself, instead of acknowledging the role his own divisive and centralizing approach has played in fomenting separatist sentiment.
Every time Trudeau dismisses Western premiers, he is dismissing the very people who elected them.
Meanwhile, Trudeau’s ‘defence’ of his violation of Ethics Laws can be basically summed up this way: “It’s okay for the PM to break laws if it’s done for a well-connected Quebec company.”
People are quite aware that Trudeau booted Jody Wilson-Raybould (a Western Canadian MP) because she wouldn’t do the bidding of SNC-Lavalin & Trudeau’s cronies.
But it’s not just SNC-Lavalin getting favourable treatment.
The Trudeau government has forgiven the outstanding balance on two massive loans that were given to Atlantic Wallboard.
Atlantic Wallboard is owned by the powerful Irving family, who have an immense influence on East Coast politics.
Two loans, with a combined value of $7.4 million, have been written off, meaning taxpayers will eat the cost.
Of course, you may be wondering why the Irvings, a billionaire family, can’t pay off the loans and make Canadian taxpayers whole.
But this is all about politics.
The Liberals have a chance to try and boost their image in the eyes of elites in the East, and they won’t hesitate to do it, even when it hurts Canadian taxpayers.
At the same time, elected governments in the West are demonized by the feds.
The Liberals have been reduced to this strategy because their endless lies and deceptions have cut their support across much of the country, and dividing the nation is all they feel they have left.
Unfortunately, with the establishment media giving the Liberals a big boost, there is no guarantee that the Liberal strategy will fail. There are many seats in Quebec and Atlantic Canada, and according to most surveys, Ontario is a dead-locked battleground.
However, even if – heaven forbid – the Liberal strategy works in the short-term, the long-term damage will be immense.
By dividing Canada against itself, by playing one region off against another, the Liberals may save some seats, but Canadians could lose our country, or at least lose the unity that is necessary for keeping our country together.
