COLEMAN: It's crunch time, Canada!
'Every vote is needed, if Canada is to have a chance.'

As the final days of this federal election campaign unfold, Canada stands at a crossroads. The so-called experts, with their smug certainty, declared weeks ago that the Liberals were a lock to win. Yet, as we hurtle toward voting day, the ground is shifting. The race is tightening, and the desire for change is palpable. This is no time for complacency. This is crunch time, and it’s up to every one of us to make our voices heard.
Let’s be clear: nobody can predict the outcome with certainty. Polls are snapshots, not prophecies. But what I see, plain as day, is a nation fed up with the status quo. Canadians are grappling with real concerns—skyrocketing costs, stagnant wages, and a housing crisis that’s locking an entire generation out of the dream of homeownership. These pocketbook issues, not the Liberals’ tired fearmongering tactics of invoking Trump, and only Trump, are what’s driving voters. The Liberal record? A trail of broken promises and economic misery. Their vision? More of the same. Canadians deserve better.
The signs of hope are undeniable. Advance polling numbers shattered records, with millions casting ballots early—the highest turnout ever. What does this mean? To me, it screams that Canadians are hungry for change. They’re not sitting back; they’re stepping up. Even more encouraging, projections suggest NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh and Green Leader Elizabeth May could lose their seats. If that comes to pass, it would be a fitting end to their tenures, marked by grand gestures and zero accomplishments. Their absence from Parliament would clear space for leaders who prioritize results over rhetoric.
At the National Citizens Coalition, we’ve poured our hearts into this campaign, backed by our incredible supporters from coast to coast. Our message has cut through the noise, resonating with Canadians young and old. For those under 40, crushed by the weight of an economy rigged against them, our ads have struck a chord, urging them to vote for a future they can actually afford. For boomers, we’ve sounded the call to secure a better Canada for their kids and grandkids—a Canada where hard work still means something. Together, we’re building a movement for real change.
But here’s the hard truth: none of this matters if we don’t show up. Voting isn’t just a right; it’s a responsibility. It’s the one moment when every Canadian, regardless of wealth or status, has equal power. That power lies in your hands, and it’s amplified when you rally your friends, family, and neighbours to the polls. A better Canada is within reach, but it won’t materialize through wishful thinking. It demands action. And inaction means a Liberal majority – truly the worst-case scenario.
The Liberal machine, propped up by a complicit media, is scrambling. For weeks, they’ve dismissed the Conservative surge, clinging to their narrative of inevitability. Now, even they can’t ignore the momentum. In these final days, their spin is faltering, and their desperation is showing. The same outlets that have run cover for the Liberals at every turn are grudgingly reporting what we’ve known all along: Carney is a liar, and the Conservatives are closing the gap. This is our chance to prove them wrong—not just the pundits, but the entire establishment that’s taken Canadians for granted, and allowed the Liberals to steal the future from young Canadians.
This election is about more than party logos or political tribes. It’s about reclaiming the promise of Canada—a nation where opportunity isn’t a privilege for the connected few, but a birthright for all who work for it. It’s about rejecting a government that’s failed us and embracing a vision of prosperity, fairness, and freedom. Pierre Poilievre and the Conservatives aren’t perfect, but they’re offering a path forward that prioritizes what matters: jobs, affordability, and a future we can believe in.
So, Canada, let’s finish this fight. Ignore the naysayers. Tune out the noise. Get to the polls, bring your friends, family, and coworkers, and vote like our future depends on it—because it does. Together, we can turn the tide. Together, we can build a better Canada. The finish line is in sight. Let’s charge toward it with everything we’ve got.
See you at the ballot box!
