FERNANDO: A 'Debunked Conspiracy' & A Conference Happening Now

The Great Reset Is A Totally Debunked Conspiracy Theory, So Please Ignore The Great Reset Conference Currently Taking Place

What is true arrogance?

What is true power?

The ability to lie to someone’s face, know that you are lying, know that they know you are lying, and get away with it anyway.

Thus, after months of denouncing critics of The Great Reset as ‘conspiracy theorists,’ much of the media and political establishment expects people to simply ignore that an entire conference on The Great Reset is taking place as you read these words (and yes, the Trudeau Liberals are in attendance).

In fact, the World Economic Forum even has a full page dedicated to ‘The Great Reset Initiative.

Yet, we are still told that this is all a conspiracy.

Even as nearly every national leader uses the exact same terminology of ‘Resetting’ and ‘Building Back Better.

Are we supposed to pretend we don’t see this?

Are we supposed to pretend that exploiting a crisis and entrenching centralized control hasn’t been the playbook of those in power over and over again?

Consider the financial crisis of 2008-2009. By the end of it, the biggest banks were far larger and far more powerful than before, while millions of regular people were wiped out.

Consider the Wuhan Virus crisis and the economic crisis it caused. Big businesses are bigger and stronger than ever, while small businesses are being wiped out.

And consider what has happened in just the past few days, with retail investors doing what massive hedge funds have been doing for years, but in reverse, boosting the stock price of companies in targeted action. Notice how the moment regular people started having a strong influence on the markets the hedge funds and heads of big institutions begged for regulation and government control?

Can’t have regular people playing the game, right?

We are supposed to watch all of this, ignore what we are seeing, be quiet, and then somehow be grateful for whatever scraps we are handed from the government.

Underpinning all of this is a complete abandonment of any true sense of capitalism.

Central banks have been pumping so much money into the system – money which reaches the banks and big corporations first of course – while national governments are pushing for policies that restrict and limit the economic growth most of us count on.

Interest rates have been suppressed, punishing savers, incentivizing massive budget deficits, and breaking the feedback loop that is meant to stop debt from getting out of control in the first place.

While small businesses and regular people lose everything all the time, big corporations are basically exempt from failure, having access to nearly unlimited central bank-backed lines of credit and implicit bailouts.

Amazingly, while this is all really due to government intervention in the economy, it has cratered support for capitalism, which ironically feeds into The Great Reset narrative.

The fact is, what we truly need is for governments and politicians to step back.

We need decentralization, not centralization.

We need to let individuals, families, and local communities make their own decisions, unencumbered by control-obsessed elites with god-complexes.

The Western world was built upon individual freedom and decentralized power, a respect for self-determination and individual choice. If we go down the road of The Great Reset and centralized control, if we surrender our decision making to unaccountable elites, we will lose the engine of creativity, prosperity, and freedom that we cherish. That would certainly be a ‘reset,’ but it would be anything but great.
