Khadr Payment an Insult to American Allies

KHADR PAYMENT OF $10.5 M IS AN INSULT TO AMERICAN ALLIES ON THE FOURTH OF JULY, SAYS NATIONAL CITIZENS COALITION

By choosing July 4th as a day to announce the scandalous payment of $10.5M to Omar Khadr, Justin Trudeau is intentionally insulting our American allies, says Peter Coleman, President of the National Citizens Coalition.

“Khadr was implicated in the killing of a US soldier who was fighting the war on terror,“ says Coleman. “Now he wins the lottery here in Canada.”

“This is an outrageous insult to our American friends, who suffered grievously on 9/11, and took strong measures to jail dangerous combatants, including Omar Khadr” he added.“ Choosing July 4th to announce this windfall for Khadr is no coincidence.”

The National Citizens Coalition was founded in 1967 and has stands proudly for more freedom, less government and a strong national defense.
