Introducing the NCC at 50

For media release:

When my late grandfather started the National Citizens Coalition back in 1967, it started with a set of newspaper ads with a simple message that would strike a chord with tens-of-thousands of Canadians. “If you share my alarm, your support is welcome.” In the decades to follow the NCC was a driving force in championing the merits of fiscal conservatism and respect for the Canadian taxpayer, and served as a constant thorn in the side of big government.

Now, fifty years later, on this very anniversary, I think he would be proud of how far the NCC has come. A future Prime Minister even passed through our doors. But with yet another Trudeau in power there is still much work to be done. And I, along with the rest of our wonderful team are excited to debut our new state of the art political platform at www.NationalCitizens.ca.

We’ve partnered with some of the best strategic minds in the political sphere to ensure our message stays timely and can live on for decades to come. And with that, comes the launch of our 50th anniversary initiative. We have lots of surprises in the year to come, and look forward to presenting new ad campaigns, and holding events with key political figures.

In regards to media availability, our President Peter Coleman is happy to chat, and can be reached at [email protected].

Best,

Alexander Brown
